I use vinegar in the rinse cycle of the washing machine. It certainly removes the lint off of the clothes. This site comes up with some great ideas. Keep it up!

To make fabric softener and freshener I use one teaspoon of washing powder (fragrance powder) tablespoon of baking soda 1 cup of water fragrance hair conditioner if you don’t have a fragrance in your conditioner add a 15 drops of an oil of your choice, mix then put in finial rinse.
